life has been a little nutty lately. but then again, as i am learning, everyone is carrying life's heavy burdens and everyone has their ups and downs. through all of this, one thing that has brought me so much happiness is that i'm in love. yes, in love. with the ps 22 choir from staten island.
have you heard these kids? they've recently generated some buzz through npr and other media outlets. and let me tell you - they are amazing! certainly there is raw talent in these kids, but it's being harnessed under the guidance of one incredible teacher. this guy is the best of what my profession is all about and i'm so proud to know that even if it's virtually, i can call him a colleague.

love these guys. I emailed Steph about it but, of course, she already knew about them (prob. b/c of you...) Also glad you picked the Cure song to highlight...one of my fav's too.
