we are in the process of prepping our street side flower bed for a makeover. however, we are also dreaming up a landscape design for the backyard that will include two raised beds - one vegetable/herb and one flower. as i research, i keep going back to my girl gayla at you grow girl. but i've also found a few other gardening sites that i thought i would share with you.
the dervaes family have created an intriguing site called path to freedom. not only do they also maintain a great blog about their efforts in urban homesteading, but they've also created a social networking site for gardeners called freedom gardens. i've also located the hip chick digs blog that gives me hope as we begin this journey. i will post pics as we progress...
and on another note, it's no secret that wilco is one of my favorite bands. but...here's another reason that i love them so.
