so if you don't know who i am referring to, flight of the conchords is the "fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo" from new zealand. jemaine clement and bret ("brit? bret. brit? bret.") mckenzie are the geniuses whose hbo series is just about to kick off its' second season on january 18th. in an effort to get caught up, we spent our rainy saturday in a flight of the conchords marathon frenzy watching the 12 episodes of season 1 (thank you charter on demand!). oh, merry day!don't wait another second...go get caught up on the goings-on of bret, jemaine, murray, dave, and number one fan mel. as one reviewer sees it, it's "spinal tap for the 21st century indie kid." as this fan sees it, it's just flippin' hilarious!
